It supports representative stands of lodgepole pine, Pinus murrayana, and Western white pine, Pinus monticola, with montane chaparral on serpentine soils. Integrity: A high-quality forest service road through the area is the major impact. There is a lookout atop the mountain. Use: Research, educational, observational, present. December 1977
