>Map >Satellite White Rock is located some 300 meters (1,000 feet) offshore, about 3 kilometers (2 miles) south of the mouth of the Klamath River. It is the breeding ground for over 200 pairs of Brandt's cormorant, Phalacrocorax penicillatus. The brown pelican, Pelecanus occidentalis, roosts here during the summer months.
