Azalea State Reserve

Located in a canyon on the north bank of the Mad River, this small area contains an excellent display of the Western azalea, Rhododendron occidentale. The surrounding vegetation is mixed evergreen.

Integrity: There is a road through the area which is managed to maintain the vigorous azalea populations.

Use: Educational, observational.
