>Map >Satellite In this area, east of Trinidad Head and embracing a portion of the drainage of Luffenholtz and Will Creeks, is the northernmost stand of the Bishop pine, Pinus muricata. It is separated from the nearest population in Mendocino County by some 240 kilometers (150 miles). Integrity: A road and several quarries are located within the area. The pines were burned in 1945 but the population reestablished itself. Use: Private July 1977
