Map Satellite Emigrant Pass is the low point in the Nopah Range through which the "Old Spanish Trail" passed. The vegetation is sparse and consists primarily of creosote bush scrub. Geologically, the area is of interest for the exposures of lower Cambrian formations. Fossils of this period have been found here. Integrity: Much of the area is undisturbed. Use: Research, educational, observational. December 1979
