Map Satellite This is a large vernal pool with marsh aspects. Among the various species that occur here are Marsilea vestita, Downingia spp., Mimulus tricolor, Eryngium sp., Plagiobothrys sp., Rorippa curvisiliqua and, in the marsh area, Typha latifolia and Sagittaria cuneata. There is an abundance of birds in the vicinity. Lake County diamonds are found here. Integrity: Walnut groves are encroaching on the area and some dikes have been built. Use: Private February 1977
