Map Satellite Straddling the boundary at the southeastern corner of the Point Reyes National Seashore is this small area. It is one of the very few places remaining in the Bay Area where evidence of the 1906 earthquake can still be seen. Here a row of eucalyptus trees were offset 4.1 meters (13.5 feet) by the earthquake. Integrity: The area, though grazed, retains the important feature. Use: Research, educational, observational. Portion private. February 1978
