Map Satellite One of the more outstanding populations of the Western azalea, Rhododendron occidentale, in the County is found here in a narrow band between the road and Flynn Creek. This band extends for several kilometers along the creek, beginning approximately 1 kilometer above its confluence with the Navarro River. Burning bush, Euonymus occidentalis, and yew, Taxus brevifolia, occur here also. A Douglas fir, Pseudotsuga menziesii, forest is encroaching on portions of the area. Integrity: The area is virtually undisturbed. Use: Private December 1977
