Map Satellite This area, which includes a peat bog, has been designated the critical habitat for the rare lotis blue butterfly, Lycaeides argyrognomon lotis. The larval host plant of the butterfly is suspected to be either Lotus formosissimus or Lathyrus vestitus var. vestitus.
Within the bog the sundew, Drosera rotundifolia, occurs. Integrity: There are various buildings, roads and a highway in the area. Use: Private February 1978
