Map Satellite Covering a rather extensive area on the fourth terrace, this forest is on Blacklock and Noyo soils. It is quite dense and is surrounded by a pine forest, Bishop pine, Pinus muricata, with some redwood, Sequoia sempervirens.
Integrity: Road 409, Casper-Little Lake Road, traverses the forest. A number of houses have been built along the road.
