Map Satellite Snow Mountain, which is composed primarily of serpentine, supports a good stand of MacNab cypress, Cupressus macnabiana, and an excellent example of serpentine chaparral. The chaparral includes chamise, Adenostoma fasciculatum, Arctostaphylos sp. and leather oak, Quercus durata.
Integrity: There is a road to a building atop the mountain, but the rest of the area is virtually undisturbed.
