Map Satellite In this area the conifer forest is dominated by white fir, Abies concolor. The main feature of interest is a cold spring, heavily mineralized, that flows at a temperature of 1° C (34° F). This spring wells up in a depression approximately 75 centimeters (30 inches) deep and 60 centimeters (24 inches) in diameter. Integrity: There is a road in the area and there has been mining activity in the past, but the spring and its surroundings are virtually undisturbed. Use: Private November 1977
