Map Satellite In this area are several hot, mineralized springs which flow at temperatures up to 82° C (180° F). Downstream from the springs, in the cooler water, there is some freshwater marsh with cattail, Typha sp., dominant. Much of the surrounding area is grassland; however, to the west there are stands of Baker cypress, Cupressus bakeri. Animal life is typical of the region. Integrity: The area is heavily grazed and there are dirt roads. Use: Private November 1977
