Map Satellite These two rocks lie approximately 100 meters (300 feet) offshore. Harbor seals, Phoca vitulina, California sea lions, Zalophus californianus, and an occasional Steller sea lion, Eumetopias jubata, use the rocks as a hauling ground. The California sea lion also uses the rocks as a rookery. Numerous sea birds can be observed here. Brandt's cormorant, Phalacrocorax penicillatus, breeds here. Integrity: Virtually undisturbed.
