Map Satellite On the serpentine soil in this valley east of The Cedars, two cypress are found, Sargent and MacNab, Cupressus sargentii and Cupressus macnabiana. It is possible that these species may be hybridizing in this area. The rare Hesperolinon drymarioides occurs here.
Integrity: There is a building in the area as well as a low-quality road.
Use: Research, educational, observational. The area has been proposed as a Research Natural Area.
