Map Satellite This area, which is bordered by Mill Creek, supports an unusually dense forest of the California buckeye, Aesculus californica. There are a few valley oaks, Quercus lobata, in the stand but they are sub-dominants. The lush undergrowth includes a variety of grasses, primarily exotic, and shrubs. Integrity: This area is virtually undisturbed though surrounded by agricultural lands. Use: Research, educational, observational. October 1975
