Laguna Lake

MAP     Satellite

Laguna Lake is one of the few natural lakes in the County. At the westerly end there is a small fresh water marsh, with tule, Scirpus sp., dominant. There is also some riparian with willows, Salix sp.

The lake attracts numerous water-oriented birds, particularly during the migratory season. Burrowing owls, Speotyto cunicularia, are found nearby.

Integrity: A housing development has impacted the southeasterly end and a portion of the lake has been filled.

Use: Private
