Anderson Reservoir Area

Map     Satellite

Chaparral covers this area, with chamise, Adenostoma fasciculatum, the main component. Other elements include Arctostaphylos sp. and toyon, Heteromeles arbutifolia.

A few gray pines, Pinus sabiniana, are scattered throughout the area. The rare Ceanothus ferrisae occurs here.

Integrity: The area lies adjacent to a popular recreational site; however, this does not appear to have damaged the vegetation.

Use: Research, educational, observational. Some private.
