Sutcliffe Creek Port Orford Cedar Stand

In this small area near the headwaters of Sutcliffe Creek in the Siskiyou Mountains there is an excellent stand of Port Orford cedar, Cupressus lawsoniana. The trees are on streamside terraces and flood plains along the creek.

Integrity: The stand is easily accessible by Road 18N30 which traverses the area.

Use: Research, educational, observational. It is a special-use designated area in the Happy Camp District management plan.
