This small vernal pool on the eastern slope of the Sonoma Mountains has a rather remarkable flora. Three uncommon plants grow here, Pilularia americana, Pogogyne douglasii and Downingia pusilla.

Additional plants of the vernal pool include Navarretia leucocephala ssp. bakeri, Navarretia cotulifolia, Navarretia intertexta, Mimulus tricolor, Sidalcea diploscypha and Gratiola ebracteata.

In the grassland surrounding the pool, Delphinium sp., Calochortus luteus and Clarkia purpurea occur.
