Rincon Manzanita Stand

In this suburb is the only known stand of the Rincon manzanita, Arctostaphylos canescens var. sonomensis. It is also one of the few localities of Ceanothus confusus, as well as the type locality for Arctostaphylos stanfordiana ssp. decumbens.

This is one of the smallest barrens (acidic soil with associated heath and dwarf conifers) in the State.

Integrity: A portion of the area is the yard of a residence, the owner of which is aware of its value; the remainder is open for subdivision.
