Freeman Creek Grove

Map     Satellite

Also known as the Lloyd Meadow Grove, this grove of sequoia, Sequoiadendron giganteum, is the easternmost. It lies in the watershed of the Kern River, within a basin rimmed with peaks; on the western slope, red fir, Abies magnifica, is an important member of the grove.

A well-used trail passes through the grove.
