Freeman Creek Grove
Map SatelliteAlso known as the Lloyd Meadow Grove, this grove of sequoia, Sequoiadendron giganteum, is the easternmost. It lies in the watershed of the Kern River, within a basin rimmed with peaks; on the western slope, red fir, Abies magnifica, is an important member of the grove.
A well-used trail passes through the grove.
