Heather Lake Natural Area
Map SatelliteThis small area in Sequoia National Park supports an excellent stand of Western white pine, Pinus monticola. Lodgepole pine, Pinus contorta ssp. murrayana, is also present.
Heather Lake is a tarn, lying in a cirque basin.
Integrity: Virtually undisturbed
