Flowers not fragrant, red or red-orange, with darker spots surrounded by light orange (or yellow-green) concentrated inside.
Blooming July–July.
Coastal prairie or scrub, bogs, gaps in closed-cone-pine forest.
Elevation < 500' (150 m).
Northwestern California.
