Annual, 4–16" (1–4 dm).
This plant is hairless with milky sap, is rather weak-stemmed, and is often partially supported in branches of other shrubs.
Flowers white, with the outer, white ray flowers having rose-colored veins on the underside.
Blooming February–May.
Gravelly and sandy desert soils.
Elevation < 4600' (1400 m).
Desert Province.
